*NEW* Recreational Soccer Program (Ages 5-12)
The Centennial Soccer Club’s recreational soccer program is designed to introduce age appropriate individual technical development and the tactical concepts of soccer to children in kindergarten through 5th grade. These skills will be taught in a fun, safe and rewarding environment that helps players to develop both physically and emotionally.
All players over the course of the season will have equal playing time. In addition, players can expect to play every position over the course of the season. Goalkeepers will be introduced at the 4th and 5th grade level. K-1 will be co-ed. Older grades will depend on numbers.
Practices will be held Tuesday evenings. Games will be scheduled Saturdays with varying times each week to accommodate all teams. In addition to practice, coaching clinics will be scheduled Tuesdays, August 22 & 29, between 6-9 pm at RLE with instructor Kenny Hills and his staff. These clinics will be designed to help coaches learn techniques to help their players better grasp technical skills and their tactical understanding of soccer. These clinics will be formatted for each age group and are not compulsory but will be useful to all coaches to gain ideas for their own practices. Coaches will receive a discount on fees.
All players receive a game t-shirt, basic photo package, and participation medal included in their registration fee.
