The Centennial Soccer Club’s recreational soccer program is designed to introduce age appropriate individual technical development and the tactical concepts of soccer to children in kindergarten through 5th grade. These skills taught in a fun, safe and rewarding environment that helps players to develop both physically and emotionally. All players over the course of the season will have equal playing time. In addition, players can expect to play every position over the course of the season. Goalkeepers will be introduced at the 2/3 grade level. Teams will be co-ed formed by age. All players receive a game t-shirt, basic photo package, and participation medal. Please wear soccer cleats, and shin guards. Bring a soccer ball (K-1 size 3, grades 2-5 size 4).Location: Rice Lake Elementary-southeast soccer fieldsDates: Tuesdays and Saturdays, Aug 11-Oct 16 (No games Sep 1)Games begin Saturday, August 18. Generally, grade K will play between 9 & 11 am, grade 1 between 10 am and noon, grades 2-3 between 9 & 11 am; and grades 4-5 between 11 am and noon. Register early as the price goes up July 1 to $85.Are you interested in being a coach? Coaches begin on Tuesday, August 7, with a coaching clinic with Kenny Hills and his staff. The clinic is designed to help coaches learn techniques to help their players better grasp technical skills and their tactical understanding of soccer. Coaches who have a player in the program will receive a discount on fees. Please indicate on your registration form if you are interested in coaching.
