*NEW* VEX Go STEM Lab: Robotic Machines (Entering Gr. 1-4)AcademicsCome explore this brand-new building system from VEX. This whole camp is about building machines and bringing them to life. Work in pairs to explore different machines, how to make use of mechanical advantage, and “robotize” many of your creations, adding motors, and sensors. Get a start into the world of programming, using a drag & drop Scratch-based program. The best part is, you are building a lot of your own creative designs, including your version of the Mars Rover and the robotic arm.Summer 2022

*NEW* Video Game & Story Design (Entering Gr. 4-8)AcademicsCalling all future writers, artists, designers, and game developers. In this collaborative camp, enjoy storyboarding your games with character, enemy and plot development. Using the Bloxels Edu system, turn your interactive stories and physical creations into a digital video game. Use a special game board and blocks (which will become pixels) to design the characters, levels, and other art for your games. Capture your creations by using the Bloxels App, then edit and customize your game, deciding how each of the elements interact and behave. Walk away with a fun, playable game for tablet or computer, and invaluable experience with logic and programming.Summer 2022
