Before and after school care for students enrolled in Centennial Preschool
Medieval Castle STEAM Class will learn the architectural elements and function of medieval castles. Create aerial blueprints to design and make a castle. Build a working trebuchet and use it to compete in a siege against the other castles! Whose castle will withstand the attack? Our field trip will be to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
Registration is by invitation only and is non refundable after May 13.
Teacher: Carolyn Ruhnow has taught for 30 years, all grades 1-5, most recently in 5th grade. She taught a year in England and that is where she developed her love for all things English, especially castles.
