Mask Mandate and Health Screening:Face masks are required at all times while inside any Centennial School District facility, including while participating in indoor activities, with the exception of swimming. Children between the ages of 2-5 are encouraged but not required to wear a mask. Children under the age of 2 are exempt from wearing a mask. The mask needs to cover the nose and mouth completely at all times. A face shield may be worn in addition to a mask, but does not replace a mask. Failure to follow will result in being asked to leave the facility. If you are participating in an outdoor program and do not need to enter the school facility, face coverings are not mandatory when social distancing standards can be met. Centennial's Sports and Activities plan will continue to be followed. That plan was created in guidance by the Centers for Disease Control and Minnesota Department of Health. We are working, together, to keep our students and staff safe.
Only participants in an activity are allowed inside district facilities. Parents of children participating in an activity are asked to follow a drop off and pick up process. The exception is for children under the age of five, in which one (1) parent may escort their child to their designation and then are encouraged to leave and come back at the conclusion of the activity. Due to capacity limitations, parents are not allowed to stay and watch.
We ask that before you participate in any in-person activity through Community Education that you self screen your health. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, or not feeling well in general, please stay home.
