  • Besides the actual fees for childcare, do I have to pay any other fees when I enroll my child for Kids Club care?

    Yes. There is a registration fee that is due at the time you enroll each child in the Kids Club. Registrations will only be accepted as space allows. Here are the amounts and timeframes associated with the registration fee: 

    ✦ Early bird registration is $35 from May 15-June 30 . 

    ✦ Standard registration is $50 and applies to all registrations received after June 30 . 

    ✦ Registrations received after August 15 will have a start date of July 5 or later.

  • Can you tell me more specifics about breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack?

    Kids club provides an afternoon snack each day. The school offers breakfast each day through the lunch/breakfast option (children will use their pin numbers to purchase). Kids Club provides a morning snack on NSD’s. Families must provide lunch on NSD’s, there is no lunch option on NSD’s.

  • Do I have to register for everyday, or do you have different enrollment options?

    Kids Club has a variety of different enrollment options.

    ✦ Full-time care = attending 5 days/week both before and after school 

    ✦ Part-time regular care = attending 1-4 days/week. (Must be the same days each week.) Can be any combination of morning or afternoon care as long as it is consistent. 

    ✦ Pick Your Days = pick the days you need care. Days must be submitted on Eleyo by the 23rd of the prior month (by August 23 for September and so forth). 

    ✦ Drop-in care = request a drop in on Eleyo at least 24 hours in advance. Drop-ins are accepted only if space allows.

  • Do I pay a registration fee? And if so, how much is it?

    Early Bird registration is $35, for registrations received between May 1 - June 30. Standard registration is $50, for registrations received after June 1. Registration fees are non-refundable.

  • Do you offer any discounts or scholarships?

    We accept county assistance, but no other discounts or scholarships are available.

  • Does Kids Club have a Family Handbook?

  • Does Kids Club offer any tutoring options?

    Kids Club offers a variety of activities, some of them academic, and staff will attempt to assist students with homework if they choose to work on it while at Kids Club.

  • Does Kids Club offer any vacation credits or sick days throughout the school year?

    No. However, Kids Club does not bill on days school is not in session unless you have registered for a Non-School Day.
  • Does Kids Club provide sunscreen? Who applies the sunscreen?

    Families are responsible to apply sun screen on their children if they decided it’s necessary during the school year and on non school days. If a family feels it is necessary for sunscreened to be reapplied, please reach out to the site staff to discuss the situation.

  • Does Kids Club typically have a waiting period to start?

    Kids Club typically has a two week waiting period after a contract is submitted, space permitting, before a child can start. However, contracts that are submitted between August 15-September 15 will have a start date of September 18 or two weeks after contract is submitted, provided space is available.

  • How do I change my schedule after I have already registered?

    Families are welcome to make contract changes if their established childcare schedule needs to be altered or cancelled for two or more consecutive weeks. A full two-week written notice is required for contract changes or cancellation. Parents may request a contract change/cancellation in one of the following ways: Remit the request online using Eleyo; notify Kids Club via email (kidsclub@isd12.org); fax the notification (763-792-6113); hand the two-week written notice to Kids Club/KC Preschool staff; or mail the two-week written notice to: Centennial Schools - Kids Club, 4707 North Rd, Circle Pines, MN 55014.

    Voicemail messages, ver bal conversations with Kids Club staff and/or phone conversations discussing contract changes are not acceptable forms of notification. A $15 contract change fee applies each time a contract change is made. There is no fee assesse d to cancel a contract, provided the proper two-week advance notification is received. Contract changes must be for a minimum of two consecutive weeks in duration.Requests to temporarily modify childcare schedules for an amount of time less than two consecutive weeks in duration cannot be processed and are not eligible for contract changes or tuition adjustments.

  • How do I update my personal information?

    Please log in to your Eleyo account (https://isd12.ce.eleyo.com), at the top, click on your name and select the drop down triangle and click on your account/relationships. Then update any information that has changed. If this information is not up-to-date, Kids Club staff will not be able to get in contact with you.

  • How do I view and pay my bill?

    Families will be emailed a monthly invoice to the email address on their child’s contract. Kids Club does not print and/or mail monthly invoices. Monthly invoices may be viewed and printed individually by logging into family Eleyo accounts. Kids Club offers several ways to make monthly payments:

    ✦ Pay over the phone with a credit card by calling Kids Club Billing and Registration at 763-792-6193. 

    ✦ Sign up for automatic monthly Auto Pay; electronic payments automatically draft full payment due directly from the checking or credit card account of the family’s preference; transactions are electronically deducted by Kids Club on the 23rd of each month. 

    ✦ Payments may be made online by logging into Eleyo. 

    ✦ Payments may be dropped off in the payment box at their child’s elementary school Kids Club site. 

    ✦ Payments may be mailed (or brought in person) to Kids Club’s/Community Education's Administrative Office, 4707 North Road, Circle Pines, MN 55014. 

    ✦ Paying after hours? Please use the Community Education after hours drop box located outside of Door B2 between the District Office and the Performing Arts Center.

  • How do Kids Club staff know that my child has arrived/left for the day?

    Kids Club requires all children in our care to be signed in and out on an electronic iPad. Only those authorized will be allowed to pick up a child and should be added to your families Eleyo account. Those dropping off/picking up should make at least eye contact with staff when dropping off/picking up. Those picking up should ALWAYS be prepared to show an ID.

  • How does Kids Club keep me updated about what is going on each day?

    A monthly electronic newsletter (same as your child’s school) will be emailed out by each Kids Club site. This newsletter will contain information about upcoming events as well as what is going on for the month.
  • I see folders on top of the parent cart. What are they?

    Each family has a parent file. Parents should check these files daily, as they may contain important information about the day, upcoming events, or accident/behavior reports. This procedure may vary by site.
  • If I need an additional day, can I add one?

    Families may request to add an extra day to supplement their child’s existing schedule by requesting a Drop-In using their Eleyo account (preferred method), or by calling the site ahead of time. A 24-hour notice is requested. Acceptance of Drop-In care is not automatic, but based on space availability, you may be told no.

  • If I want to sign my child up for a Community Education class that is located in the same building as Kids Club, what do I need to do?

    If a child is registered for a class through Community Education being held in the same building, please notify Kids Club staff so that they know not to look for your child. If your child is going to need care after the community education class, please be sure to notify Kids Club.

  • If my child has an appointment, will be late to Kids Club, or will not be attending for any reason, do I need to contact anyone? Will there be staff on-site when we get there?

    If your child is not going to attend after school, please email, or call your child’s Kids Club site directly, so we are not looking for your child. If your child is going to arrive late on a non school day, please contact your child's Kids Club site directly. Be sure to check the NSD flyers to ensure your child has what he or she needs for the day and you don’t miss a bus. All staff attend field trips, leaving no one on-site.

  • Is Kids Club located at my child’s school?

    Kids Club is offered at all five elementary schools, both before and after school as well as on district scheduled late starts (must register separately for these). However, on NSD’s, families that are enrolled in Kids Club can choose between two convenient locations, Blue Heron Elementary or Rice Lake Elementary to receive care.

  • What do students do at Kids Club?

    Kids Club is based out of the cafeteria, where students have a variety of choices available, including games, manipulatives, and arts supplies.Students also have a choice to go to the gym, computer lab, and outside. For more information about your child’s daily scheduled choices, please talk to the site manager at your child’s Kids Club site.

  • What happens when school isn’t in session or when there is a scheduled two-hour late start morning? Is Kids Club open?

    If there is no school, and it isn’t a holiday for our Kids Club staff, we offer Non-school Day care (NSD) and optional childcare on two-hour late start mornings. Flyers are emailed out to families about six weeks prior to the NSD or two-hour late start day. Families that need care are required need to register prior to the deadline (listed on the emailed flyer). No cancellations are accepted after the deadline. To register online using your Eleyo account, go to

    Log in with your email and password. Now click on Explore All Programs, then in the large dark blue box of on the left side of the screen, select either Kids Club or KC Preschool. Now click Account Management click the blue box Register Non-School Days, Choose Attending Child and Continue. Choose a Program ( either Kids Club or KC Preschool). Then for the Season, select School Year 2017-18 and Continue. Now choose the dates you need, and when prompted, which school site you prefer for those days. Finally, click Continue to complete your request. You will then receive an automated email from Centennial Community Education, stating we have received and are processing your request(s); it is waiting for staff approval. When it is reviewed and approved, you will receive a confirmation via email. 

    At the elementary schools, two-hour late start days (for the 2017-18 school year, those days are November 1, December 1, January 30 & February 27) affect children in grades K through 5. Late start mornings do not affect KC Preschoolers, who will begin preschool at their regularly scheduled time of 9:30 AM. Anyone else needing childcare in the elementary schools for these two-hour late start mornings must register using their Eleyo account. No one is automatically enrolled/assumed to be attending these optional mornings of childcare. Families will not be charged for two-hour late start days unless they register or attempt to drop their child(ren) in for those mornings at their Kids Club site.It makes no difference if their child is typically contracted to receive before school childcare during the week. Two-hour late start mornings are treated differently, since the care is optional; families who enroll will be billed at a rate of $18 per child per morning when they are enrolled by the deadline printed on the emailed flyer. Drop In care for two-hour late start mornings will be billed at $25 per child per morning, provided there is space available for the child and the staff accepts them that morning.

  • What if my child needs to take medication while at Kids Club?

    If a child needs to take medication while at Kids Club, Kids Club staff will have the parent (and in many cases a Licensed Prescriber) complete a Centennial School District 12 Authorization for Medication Administration. These forms can be found on the isd.12.org website, under About, then Health Services, or you may get one from Kids Club staff. All medications must be in the original bottle or container and can not be expired. If it is a prescribed medication, the child’s name must be on the medication/bottle (including inhalers), or we are unable to administer the medication.

  • ​What is Kids Club?

    Kids Club is the school-age childcare program sponsored by Centennial Community Education. During summer, children are organized by grade level into groups where they spend the majority of their day in play and activities. Each classroom environment features various age-appropriate centers that allow for individual choices. These centers include games, manipulatives, arts and crafts, reading center, and creative play area. The children spend a portion of each day enjoying a variety of outdoor recreational exp eriences. Play clothes and tennis shoes are recommended for outdoor activities. Special interest clubs are also offered. Special interest clubs are put on weekly by Kids Club staff.   • When is my bill due?

    September fees are billed during the first full week of September and will be due September 23; October fees are billed during the first full week of October and will be due October 23; and so forth. Families will receive and email informing them their invoice is ready, can view their monthly invoices online using their Eleyo account. Accounts not paid by the 23rd of the month will be assessed a $20 late fee on the 24th, and care may be suspended on the 1st of the month, if account is not paid in full.

  • Where will I find the information about summer Kids Club C.A.M.P.?

    Kids Club will post a preview of field trips and summer activities (subject to change) on our website on February 15. Registration will begin March 15. The finalized calendar (subject to change) will be emailed out to families, posted on our website, and included as a link in summer newsletters.
