  • Circle Pines 75th Anniversary Celebration

    Please join us on August 2 to celebrate Circle Pines 75th Anniversary with this Concert Series! Information listed here is for your information only. No registration required. Simply show up with your lawn chair ready to listen to some good tunes. Concert Schedule Family DJ Dance Party: 10 am - noon at Center Park. Join our DJ, Brett of Special Works DJ, who has arranged a play list full of appropriate songs that are just made for dancing. Songs will span the generations to appeal to all ages. So grab your family and friends and let’s bust a groove. Brady Perl: noon - 1:30 pm at Golden Lake Park. Brady is an American singer-songwriter performing modern and traditional Americana music based out of the Twin Cities. His great-grandfather built violins/fiddles, his grandparents owned the first musical night club on Lake Minnetonka in the 1940s, and his uncle was a professional drummer by the age of about 13 before being drafted in the Vietnam War, making Brady a 4th generation musician. Performing professionally for over 15 years, Brady Perl is an award-winning local musician, delivering high quality and original material. The Salsa del Soul Sextet (feat. Frank Rivery): 2-3:30 pm at Golden Lake Park. . Salsa del Soul is a Twin Cities-based ensemble performing various styles of dance music from the Spanish-speaking regions of the Caribbean. Salsa del Soul was formed with the purpose of providing great dance music for Twin Cities Salsa fans. The musicians represent some of the finest talents in the Twin Cities Latin music scene. The style of music they perform includes Son, Son Montuno, Plena, Cha-cha-cha, Bachata, Merengue, Timba and of course Salsa. The Holy Rocka Rollaz: 4-5:30 pm at Golden Lake Park. Take an authentic trip back to the fantastic 50s with the Holy Rocka Rollaz as they bring back memories and nostalgia with music from the legends like Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, and Johnny Cash.     Saturday, April 26 from 9 am to noon at Rice Lake Elementary. Purchase a table or two to sell items you no longer need or come and shop! You keep the money you earn from the sale of your items. Tables are 6 feet in length. Items being sold cannot exceed your table area. Table Fee: $10 for kids, $20 for adults Proceeds collected from the table fees will go to the Community Education Financial Assistance Program. Event is FREE for shoppers.

  • MN Twins Baseball Game

    Come out and cheer on our boys of summer as the MN Twins take on the Texas Rangers. Our seats are in section 204 & 205 along the first base line. We do have some wheelchair accessible seats available, please let us know if you need to reserve an accessible seat. We plan to arrive around 11:15 am for the noon game, so you'll have some time to explore before the game begins. We will depart after 10 innings if the game runs long. Youth with an adult are welcome to attend. Fee includes transportation and game ticket. Please register by May 12. No refunds after May 12. Pick up/drop off at The Rookery Activity Center. Return time is approximate.

Centennial Community Band - Thursday, June 12, 7-8 pm This 60 plus member community band formed in 2003. They work under the direction of Barry Zumwalde and perform several concerts a season. The Roxxy Hall Band - Thursday, June 26, 7-8:30 pm The Roxxy Hall Band is a seven piece, all women, rock-n-soul band with a horn section. Come listen, sing along, and dance to great grooves and memorable melodies. The band's four singers create music with multiple layers of harmonies. The Revolution 5 Thursday, July 10, 7-8:30 pm The Revolution 5 is Minnesota’s premier Beatles Tribute band. Their extensive set list includes hours of Beatles tunes and boasts virtually every chart-topping hit sprinkled with a handful of deeper tracks for the true enthusiast. The Floras - Thursday, July 17, 7-8:30 pm The Floras are a husband and wife singing duo with decades of performing experience. Mark knew this farmer's daughter was meant to be his beloved. The constant call of 50s and Americana music has brought them into singing for a living.     Enter the Chateau Winery in St. Croix Falls, WI with us. We will first stop at the Lowell Inn, which was created by Elmer Lowell. Lunch in the Garden Room will be Chicken a la King – tender pieces of chicken, mushrooms, red and green peppers in a sherry cream sauce served over a puff pastry shell, mashed potatoes, vegetable of the day, beverage and a small dessert. After lunch we drive to the Chateau Winery nestled in the rolling hills of St. Croix River Valley. We will divide into two groups for wine tasting and a tour of the production area and barrel room. Explore the estate with a carriage house, stables and floral gardens. Visit the gift shop and make purchases on your own. Registration includes transportation in a motor coach, guided tour and lunch.

    September 20-27, 2025 Grab your friends and your cowboy boots. Community Education is heading to Nashville! Saturday, Sept 20: Sit back and relax and let us do all the driving. We’ll travel by motorcoach beginning Saturday morning. We will depart around 7:30 am. On the bus a muffin and fruit will be provided. Before dinner we will stop to purchase food/snacks (on your own) at a bathroom stop, you can also bring your own lunch on the bus. We’ll stop at a dinner buffet at Fiddlesticks in Hannibal, MO and then head to the Drury Inn St. Louis for an overnight stay. Sunday, Sept 21: Before leaving St. Louis, we’ll visit the famous Gateway Arch, (admission, movie and tram ride and lunch is included). Dinner is included this evening when we arrive in Nashville, at Nicky’s Coal Fired Pizza. Once in Nashville, get ready for a variety of famous and exciting sights and sounds in this thriving musical city. The Drury Inn Nashville is a great location, just off Broadway, so you have easy access to bars and restaurants. Nashville Highlights: Monday, Sept 22: We are going to start our time in Nashville with some big attractions! We will have a guided tour of the original Grand Ole Opry location- the historic Ryman Auditorium. A buffet lunch at a nearby restaurant is included. After lunch we will visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. Tour the Hall of Fame at your leisure and make your way back to the hotel, which is only just a few blocks away. Dinner this evening can be at the Drury Inn, or choose to do something on your own. Tuesday, Sept 23: Our day will begin with a tour of the Belle Meade Historic Site & Mansion. A wine tasting and time to shop will be included. For lunchtime/midday, you may choose on your own. We will go for an early dinner at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen before heading to the fabulous Grand Ole Opry. We’ll update you when we receive information on who will be performing for us that evening! Wednesday, Sept 24: Today we’ll enjoy a tour of the Andrew Jackson Hermitage historical museum in the morning, lunch is included. On the way back to the hotel we’ll stop at the Opryland hotel. It is free to walk through their amazing inside gardens. You may have dinner at the Drury Inn, or choose something on your own. Thursday, Sept 25: Spend the day at your own leisure. You will have a ticket for the Hop-on-Hop-Off Trolley, this is a great and convenient way to do more exploring and see more of Nashville. In the evening we’ll set sail on the elegant General Jackson showboat, which includes dinner and a show. Friday, Sept 26: We’ll depart Nashville in the morning, lunch will be included. We’ll stop in Hannibal MO, at the Best Western Downtown on the river. Dinner will be on your own, with several restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance. Saturday, Sept 27: Breakfast will be included at the hotel. We will make several stops on the way home for snacks/food and the bathroom. There will be no formal lunch stop. We will return to Circle Pines around 6 pm. Price: Double Room Occupancy: $2,189 per person with a $449 initial deposit and subsequent payments on the 15th of $435 for March-June. Single Room Occupancy: $3,204 with a $644 initial deposit and subsequent payments on the 15th of $640 for March-June.
