Have a 'whale of a time' exploring the deep blue sea this summer! You will learn about ocean life in all parts of the sea, from the shallow tide pools to the deep, dark abyss! We have a variety of science experiments/lessons, games, art projects, and videos/movies to share with you! You will create a costume for a play, and take a trip to the Sea Life Aquarium! While there, we hope to take a special class about habitats and adaptations and then go behind the scenes to see how the animals are fed and cared for. These 6 days will 'shore-ly' make you want to dance in your 'flippers!' We hope to ‘sea’ you there! Our field trip will be to Sealife Aquarium at the Mall of America. Please note that due to instructor availability, this class has a few changes in the regular schedule. Class starts Thursday, June 13 and you meet on Friday, June 14.
Registration is by invitation only and is non refundable after May 13.
