Conservatory theater is advanced theater and performance training, all are welcome. Focus on all disciplines of theater: preparation, movement, vocals, character study, stage combat and daily improvisation. Learn what it is like to be a professional actor, from the dynamics and protocols of auditions through the rehearsal process and performance. Explore how life skills vital to success can be found in acting including communication, high level listening skills, an awareness and control on how you are perceived, and collaboration and cooperation with others. Please bring snack and a beverage each day. The camp is run like a professional theater production, leading up to a final end-of-week performance. Family and friends are invited to attend the final performance on the Friday of camp week at 11:30 am.
