  • *NEW* Hand-Sewing Leather: Small Goods

    This entry-level class designed to introduce the classic techniques of hand sewing with leather. Participants will complete two projects that demonstrate the basics of working with leather including cutting, punching, hand sewing, riveting, snap setting, finishing and care. Participants guided through the process from hide to finished product leaving with your very own handmade leather good.Choose from a wide variety of projects and leather at the beginning of class, including: clutches, belts, coin purses, wallets, Field Notes and passport covers, phone cases, key-chains, sunglasses case and more.   • Quilted Paper-Pieced Table Runner

    Explore this fun, easy and versatile quilting method using the machine paper-piecing technique to make a 4-block, tulip-designed table runner. Learn to piece blocks, add sashings and borders, and get ideas for quilting and binding. Must bring own sewing machine in working order. Supply list mailed prior to class. Price includes pattern and instructions.
  • Quilters Day In (QDI)

    Need more time to work on a quilt or to start a new one? Arrive anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Bring a lunch.  Must pre-register. No registrations taken at door.
  • Quilters Night Out (QNO)

    Work on quilting projects away from distractions. Participate in show and tell, and fabric/pattern swap. Bring supplies, materials and equipment (including working sewing machine). Help with questions/problems will be provided by facilitator, Kathy Johnson. Pre-registration preferred, but not required. Quilter's Night into Day: Want to extend the time to work on projects, save $$ and have a mini-retreat?     Take 12 fat quarters (18" x 22" fabric cuts), cut, sew and twist the blocks to make this fast, fun quilt 57" x 75", generous lap size. Class covers quilt-making basics, sewing, exploring design layouts and adding borders.
