    Take your leather hand-sewing skills up a notch and make a beautiful leather tote bag, bucket bag, or laptop case for yourself or to give as a gift. Be guided through the process from hide to finished product. Fee includes all supplies. Though not required, it is recommended that participants have taken a previous class or have equivalent experience.
  • Garden Walk Quilt

    Confident Beginner + Let your fabric selection do most of the work for you. This quilt creates a two-color pieced flower block with a connecting walkway. Must have ruler tool, makes this an easy technique to master. Class will cover quilt-making basics, chain piecing, design layout and borders. Quilting options will be discussed. Prepare to do homework to complete a queen size 96” x 112” quilt top in three sessions. Can request material list for twin size. For confident beginner (not appropriate for first quilt, but great second quilt). Supply and material list mailed prior to class.
  • Hand-Sewing Leather: Small Goods

    This entry-level class designed to introduce the classic techniques of hand sewing with leather. Participants will complete two projects that demonstrate the basics of working with leather including cutting, punching, hand sewing, riveting, snap setting, finishing and care. Participants are guided through the process from hide to finished product leaving with your very own handmade leather goods. Choose from a wide variety of projects and leather at the beginning of class, including: clutches, belts, coin purses, wallets, Field Notes and passport covers, phone cases, key-chains, sunglasses case and more.   • Quilters Day In (QDI)

    Come spend the day with fellow quilters. Arrive anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Bring a lunch. Must pre-register. No registrations taken at door.
  • Quilters Night Out (QNO)

    Work on quilting projects away from distractions. Participate in show and tell, and fabric/pattern swap. Bring supplies, materials and equipment (including working sewing machine). Help with questions/problems will be provided by facilitator, Kathy Johnson. Pre-registration preferred, but not required. Quilter's Night into Day: Want to extend the time to work on projects, save $$ and have a mini-retreat?     Beginners+ This quick, fun quilt top requires 20 fat quarters to complete. This two-day class will have you well on your way to completing the quilt top (finished size is 70 X 86, with border 82 X 98). Cover the basics, design layout and borders. Supply list mailed prior to class.
