  • *NEW* Small Group Fitness - Females (Gr. 6-8)

    This circuit style class will teach basic weight training, speed, agility, teamwork and sportsmanship after school at the middle school. Participants will move in small groups moving through the workout as a team, helping each other to use safe form and technique, in conjunction with the instructor. The whole group may play a team game to train basic teamwork, listening skills and to have fun. Activity buses depart at 4:45pm and after school supervision is available at no additional charge in the cafeteria until 6pm. Please check the box during registration if you'll utilize busing or care.
  • Middle School Cougar Strength (grades 6-8)

    Cougar Strength is designed for all Centennial student athletes who want to develop explosive power absolute strength, muscular endurance, speed, quickness, agility, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness. The program achieves these measured athletic qualities by introducing our middle school athletes to the base movements and their variations along with other movement preparatory exercises; high-intensity, strength-building exercises; exercises containing plyometric properties; proper technique and teaching progressions; and researched program design and periodization. Cougar Strength is the only program in the school that collects ALL athletes and brings them into one room with a common goal - developing themselves as an athlete to help their teams be successful.
