The Centennial Theater Department Middle School Fall Play 2025: "The Folly of The House of Usher"

The Hideaway Gang receive a letter inviting them all to come stay for the weekend at the house of Roderick Usher. Roderick is asking for their help. But he doesn't say what he needs help with. Smelling adventure, "The Hideaway Gang" accepts the invite.

They arrive at the house of Roderick Usher, which is a GIANT mansion. Roderick's sister, Madeline Usher, informs them that their parents are missing and that they believe the house to be alive! As the gang sets off to explore the mansion in search of their parents, they each encounter a slew of wacky and bizarre characters. A spooky and hilarious story!

Characters include: a butler, maid, chauffeur, gardener, cook and many, many more.

"CAST" Mandatory Meeting: All students who want to be in the "cast" as actors along with their parent/guardian.
Thursday, September 4, 6-7 pm

"Booth/Costume/Set Crew" Mandatory Meeting: All students who want to be on a "crew" along with their parent/guardian.
Thursday, September 11, 6-7 pm

"Cast" Auditions: MUST ATTEND ONE
Monday, September 8 or Wednesday, September 10, 3-4:40 pm

Rehearsals: Begin September 15
Shows: November 5-9

• *Did your student attend the mandatory informational meeting or get approval from the Directors to register?
• *Did they turn in the parent consent/information forms to the director and get approval to register?
• *If you are registering for cast – was your student cast in the show after auditioning?
• *If you are registering for crew, did the Directors notify you and give approval for your student to register for crew?
