    Have you ever wanted to create your very own miniature fairy garden? Learn how to build one. A fairy garden is a miniature garden that makes a perfect home for mischievous fairies, dragons, and garden gnomes. Use Sculpey® clay, paint, and found objects to build our imaginary scene.
  • *NEW* Fishy Sculpture, Metal Tooling, Dimentional Foam at Home Kits (ages 5+)

    Fishy Fish Sculpture: With the fishy fish sculpture lesson you will sculpt your own under the sea creature using model magic. Add color to your fish with markers from home. Your kit will include instructions, model magic, tooth picks to create a stand, and tin foil to make an armature inside your model magic to give your sculpture its shape. Metal Tooling: Learn the art of metal tooling. With this kit you will have an instruction sheet with video link for a demonstration, sheet of soft metal, and a wood stylus tool to press your designs into the metal with. Create patterns in your metal by pressing from both sides of the metal to create different textures. Dimensional Foam: Use your imagination to create your own design using soft foam. You will then cover your foam with tin foil to create a raised surface. Your kit will include an instruction sheet with video link for a demonstration, chip board to build your design on, foam to make your raised design, and tin foil. Kits will be delivered to your home.

    Fun-filled days await as we explore the wonderful world of horses. Horses are not only graceful and majestic animals, but they are also excellent subjects to draw and color. Participants will learn how to draw horses of all shapes, sizes, and styles. Use various media to create colorful compositions which help to strengthen coloring skills. On the final day a large drawing will be created using pastels. Challenging drawings like this can reward participants with a great sense of accomplishment. Please wear an old shirt or smock to the final day of class.
  • *NEW* Light the Night Fun - 10 Projects (ages 6-11)

    Have a blast exploring amazing projects that will light up the night. This one-of-a-kind, program includes a wide variety of projects, from super coll Science and Engineering challenges, to outrageously fun Art projects. All the lessons are ready to go when your family is. No adhering to a class schedule, just visit the website and the lesson will be waiting for you to explore. Online content available for one month to access after first login. Projects include: fluorescent light discoveries, flying a cool spooky bat, exploring the secret of a magic firefly garden, creating a mini crossbow, engineering a simple centrifugal water pump, Jelly Fish art, "Calaverita" art, and two science experiments. Orders will be submitted every two weeks on 6/12, 6/26, 7/10 and 7/24. We will then contact you to arrange a pick up date/time at the Community Education Office.     Unicorn fans, you’re in luck, because we have the perfect camp for you. We’ll make unicorns that dazzle, sparkle, and shine as we explore a wide array of materials and techniques. We’ll draw, sculpt, and even learn the secret recipe for making fabulous, glittery unicorn Slime. Additional time may be spent using various materials to engage participants in creative processes designed to inspire their inner artist. Please pack a nut free snack and drink.

    Laugh-out-loud funny. Mind-bendingly creepy. Eerie but exciting. If you are a fan of creepy, crawly monsters, this camp is the perfect fit. Learn to draw and cartoon a variety of characters and even complete a large composition using pastels. Explore drawing monsters of all shapes, sizes and colors. There are big monsters and little monsters. Funny monsters and scaly monsters. If you can imagine a monster, we’ll draw it. Create amazing cartoon drawings with humorous expressions and animated poses.
  • *NEW* Online Young Rembrandt's 4 Lesson Cartoon & Drawing: Nature Animals (ages 5-12)

    Stimulate those brains. Screen time isn't just watching TV. Join Young Rembrandt's and receive 4 full hour lessons developing vocabulary, fine motor skills, and art techniques. Sharpen those minds and those pencils. Explore the coloring world of nature. Draw three different types of bugs, iconic summer camp scenes, exotic flamingos, and beautiful killer whales. Participants will need the following simple supplies from home: 8.5"X11" paper, pencils, broad ti[ markers, eraser, black permanent marker (Sharpie). A unique link will be send to the email address on registration shortly after your registration. You can access the video by logging in with your email. Watch videos at your convenience up to five times each pausing when needed. Registration will be open through August 31.

    Find yourself captivated by exotic African beasts. Learn about some of Africa’s most majestic animals as you illustrate them using pastel chalks. An antelope showcased within a mélange of patterns, a stylized zebra with a creative palette and a regal lion are a few of the beasts to be explored. Wear an old shirt or smock to class each day.

    Explore ocean life as you learn to draw and color with pastels. Create detailed, pastel compositions on each day focusing on a different ocean-themed subject. Draw eye-catching sea stars along the shoreline and a pair of vibrant clown fish. Illustrate a sea turtle with bold patterns, a blue crab and a wondrous scene of jellyfish. Our instruction will bring remarkable results, and you will want to head to the frame shop with your finished pastel pieces.

    Socialize, relax and recharge with an at home Art Soiree! No art experience necessary to have fun and enjoy. Your art kit will include a 11x14” stretch canvas, 3 brush sizes, acrylic paint, an instruction sheet with step-by-step instruction, and online link for a video tutorial.   • Silly Milly Clay Creations (Ages 7-12)

    Learn magical techniques with colorful oven-baked clay. Roll, flatten, wrap and then slice to reveal amazing designs like stars, flowers and swirls. Then take your slices and cover anything you choose from the collection of objects including frames, jars, boxes, utensils and pens. When complete, take home your creation and bake it in your own oven to harden the clay permanently. Cost includes all supplies.
