  • *NEW* Fun Lab Trip (Gr. 6-8)

    Get ready to kick off your April school break! Join your friends for an afternoon at the Fun Lab in Blaine. We'll leave the Middle school as soon as school gets out and spend 2 hours on unlimited play in mini bowling, Spin Zone, and Laser Tag. You'll also be able to take a spin on the XD dark ride with a group of friends. A $10 game card, pizza and drink are included as well. Bus will return to the Middle School approximately 6 p.m. for families to pick up their child. Please register by April 8. No refunds thereafter.
  • *NEW* State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championship

    The Final 4 is coming to Minneapolis! Join in the fun at this event.The State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships will take place at Target Center in Minneapolis on Thursday, April 4 at 8 p.m. helping tip off college basketball's ultimate weekend. The 31st annual event, produced by Chicago-based Marketing and Media Solutions Company Intersport, returns to Minneapolis for the first time since 2001.Twenty-four of the nation's elite men's and women's college basketball players will convene in Minneapolis to participate in the event. The night features the Great Clips Slam Dunk Championship, the Men's and Women's 3-Point Shooting Championships and the Applebee's Team Shootout. The winners of the Men's and Women's 3-Point Championships will then compete in the Reese's Puffs Battle of the Champions, ESPN will carry the live broadcast beginning at 8 p.m. CST.Tickets are discounted, with the biggest savings and no added convenience fees. Pick up your tickets at the Community Education office before the event. We will contact you when they are available for pickup.  Transportation is not provided. Deadline to register extended to March 26. No refunds thereafter.Tickets are all located in the lower level. $26 seats are mid court, section 131; $18 seats are on the end, section 118.
  • Middle School Tour & Scavenger Hunt (Entering Gr. 5-6)

    Anxious about transitioning from elementary to middle school? Here's an opportunity to spend a few hours touring the school, meeting new friends from the other elementary buildings, and exploring while taking part in an exciting scavenger hunt. Pizza lunch included. Principal Robert Stevens will provide a special welcome at each session.
  • Summer Sensory Camp (ages 4-9)

    An occupational therapist and support staff will guide participants through outdoor activities targeting all the senses while engaging in cooperative play with peers. Sniff our sensory garden, keep your eyes peeled during our nature hunt and get your hands wet while playing in water. We welcome children of all abilities, including children with special needs who can participate in a small group. This is a great camp for children with special needs and their siblings. If your child will need additional assistance, caregivers are welcome. Instructor: Jennifer Corbin and Emily Iniguez, licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapists specialized in sensory integration and special needs with Advance Therapy.
