Fall in the Woods - Adaptation, Hibernation & Migration

You're invited to join the first session of the brand new Golden Lake Nature Club! As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, we'll explore how plants and animals get ready for winter. Why do some birds fly away while others stay? What happens to frogs, bugs, and trees as the temperatures drop? Through hands-on exploration, nature walks, games, and observation, kids will learn about the amazing things our plant and animal neighbors do as the seasons change. We'll tune in to the rhythms of fall and discover the magic happening all around us in the woods. Nature club will be held outside unless the weather is unsafe. Pack a snack, your water bottle, and into the forest we go!

For the purposes of safety and security, students must register for after school classes ONLY at the elementary school in which they are enrolled.
